Is Katapult a loan?
No. Katapult is a lease-to-own (lease-purchase) service, not a loan or credit. Katapult buys the wheels and tires and leases them to you, and Katapult owns them while the lease is active. Owning through a lease costs more than the cash price.
Does applying affect my credit?
Applying won't affect your FICO score, and no credit history is required. Katapult gets information from consumer reporting agencies, including Clarity Services (an Experian company), so a soft inquiry will show on your Experian report. Not all applicants are approved.
Can installation be included?
Usually not. Katapult leases eligible items like wheels, tires and certain accessories. Installation, mounting, delivery, recycling/disposal fees and parts permanently attached to a vehicle generally can't be leased. Call or text us and we'll help you sort out your order.
What if my cart is more than my approval?
You may need to lower the leased amount by removing items. Call or text us and we'll help you adjust your order.
Can I own it early?
Yes. You can use the early purchase option at any time, with no early-payment penalty. Your lease agreement shows your early purchase amounts.
